Foji Raceworks was founded nearly ten years ago, born from a genuine passion for building and improving cars. What started as a hobby working on my own Mazda MX-5 quickly grew into building cars for friends, developing skills, and investing in the tools and knowledge needed to do things properly.

After starting out in a small unit, that passion evolved into a full-time business. Today, Foji Raceworks operates from a larger workshop with a small, tight-knit team, allowing us to remain hands-on and personally involved in every project we take on.

At our core, we are petrol heads. We have a deep appreciation for Japanese performance cars, with a particular love for MX-5s, Hondas, Evos, and more. Alongside this sits a strong passion for BMWs, especially models from the 1970s through to the late 1990s, valued for their engineering, character, and driving experience. These influences shape both the work we do and the standards we hold ourselves to.

While we are recognised as Mazda MX-5 specialists, our expertise extends across JDM and BMW vehicles. We offer a wide range of services including motorsport preparation, bespoke fabrication, restoration, metalwork, and engine builds or conversions. Over the years, we’ve invested heavily in both equipment and skill development, allowing us to deliver everything from focused upgrades and repairs to fully tailored, ground-up builds.

Our approach is defined by precision, planning, and purpose. Whether it’s a single modification, a full engine build, or a complete nut-and-bolt restoration, every job is carried out with foresight and attention to detail. We take pride in invisible structural repairs, high-quality welding, and properly engineered performance solutions designed around both the driver and the car’s intended use.
